Morning Toddler
The morning toddler class is especially designed for little ones, with furniture, materials and activities and an atmosphere that matches not only their size, but their energy, curiosity and their developing physical prowess. It complements their enthusiasm for exploring, learning about and naming objects all around them. This class is for children ages 24 months to 36 months.
- Curriculum includes language, early math, practical life, sensorial, imaginary play , art and music.
- Class begins at 8:45am and ends at 11:15am.
- Class has an orientation period at the beginning of school so the children have a smooth separation.
- Class begins mid-September.
- There is one head teacher and two assistants — ratio 1:5
All-Day Toddler
The All-Day toddler class is similar to the morning toddler class in that the classroom is set up the same way, and has similar toddler materials. The difference is that the All-Day class is open from 7:00am until 6:00pm, and the routine differs from the 2-1/2 hour class.
The parents are free to choose their hours as long as they choose a 6-hour time frame. This class requires a 6-hour minimum due to increased costs for staff.
The children have the core academic time in the morning for 2-1/2 hours. This time includes language, early math, sensorial and practical life, art and music activities. After the academic time, they have outdoor play and then come in for lunch. We offer a hot, catered lunch which is included in the price of tuition.
After lunch, the children have a 2-1/2 hour nap time and in the late afternoon are busy with preparing snack, doing crafts, participating in gym or outside time, storytelling, or reading stories.
